Career

Since graduating from St. Bonaventure University, I have utilized my degree to produce content for several non-profit organizations, small, family-owned companies, and international organizations.  Below are examples of my work, including social media content, website management and copywriting. 

ECO Strategic Communications

Freelance Social Media Content Creator

This is an example of the video-editing work I did while working for ECO Strategic Communications. Conferences were often held virtually, so my job was to attend the event to take notes and re-watch it later to highlight key portions from the speakers to share on social media. 

Genesee Valley Penny Saver

Digital Marketer

Here, you can view some of the social media content that I designed and published while working at the Genesee Valley Penny Saver. I helped develop the GVPS "Insider" campaign, which successfully raised over $800 in donations from local readers. This campaign included social media and print marketing strategies, as a majority of our audience was not particularly active online.

This sister company at the Genesee Valley Penny Saver allowed me to creatively expand the social media content that I produced and shared. I worked with local influencers and businesses who were featured or paid for adds in the print publication and promoted them via social media following each month's publication release.

At Franklin Apprenticeships, my responsibilities included managing the social media channels, including creating content for employees, in addition to producing branded content for the Sales Team. Websites

I have been responsible for creating content for and managing several websites throughout my career so far. Please view below examples of my work and links to the sites.

One of my weekly tasks at the Genesee Valley Penny Saver was to upload the digital editions for each area to the website. This was a several step process.

For Home Publications, I uploaded feature pieces to the website in addition to advertisements. This is an example post from an article in the print version.

I worked with the Leadership Team and our external web development agency to re-design, write copy and implement nearly every aspect of Franklin Apprenticeship's website to enhance user experience and increase the company's credibility.
